Memo to Sarah Palin

Get back to Alaska and stop talking to the Media immediately. The sore loser McCain bunch are trying to throw you under the bus. Let them spew their loser talk. You should stay above the fray and let them martyr themselves, but not you, because if they drag you down into the muck with them, surely your national career is over before it had a chance to begin.

Furthermore, when you come back to the national stage, DO NOT fraternize with the elite entertainment class any longer. Tina Fey, Saturday Night Live and others ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. They mock you in front of your face. They aren't laughing with you, they are laughing at you. You think they are sincerly just trying to be funny, however they sincerely are trying to marginalize and trivialize you and your career. DON'T LET THEM!!

Next time around, pick your own team of handlers, close confidants, and consultants that have YOUR career and best interests at heart, not those trying to save someone else's losing cause.

Finally, Go back to Alaska and work on whatever your shortcomings may be, whether it is Foreign Policy or world Geography and laugh at the Katie Courics and Charles Gibsons of the mainstream media world the next time they try to belittle you with questions they didn't ask any of the men in the last campaing. Last but not least, study the policies of Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan. Pay particular attention to President Reagan's speaking ability and communication techniques. Here is a link to one of his greatest speeches that you should listen to everyday.

It is up to you now to prepare for being a part of a new conservative revolution in the coming years. Lots of us are pulling for you, Sarah.

Godspeed!

Obamanomics

There are NO tax cuts in BHO's tax plan.  Instead he uses "tax credits" ie. sends everyone government checks.

He  mails you a check if you meet the following criteria...

"Making work pay" tax credit. Basically everyone gets a $500 check

"$4K American opportunity tax credit. You get money back after you have spent it if you have a kid in college.

"Mortgage Tax Credit". You get a check back on average of $500 if you have a mortgage.

Eliminate taxes all together on seniors making under $50K

OTHERS...

Health Care Tax Credit
Expand Earned income Tax Credit
Tax credit for Child Care
Tax Credit for "green" vehicles
Some sort of retirement account tax credit...

He does not say that he WONT renew the Bush Tax Cuts so everyone's marginal rate will probably  rise in 2010.

Jimmy Carter 2.0

I was a mere kid when Jimmy Carter was elected.  I remember the argument for electing him as being, he is "a good ole boy", as I am from the south, the common refrain  he was "one of us"... just a  peanut farmer and not "a washington insider", someone different from what we have had, the antithesis of the Watergate paticipants.etc....America took a chance for "change's sake", rolled the dice and suffered for 4 long years of 18% interest rates, stagflation, international humiliation with the iranian hostage crises, etc under his leadership (or lack thereof).

Now we get Mr. Obama...Hey he is "different", "from outside Washington", "he is one of us" not a politician but a community organizer. Even as Mr. Obama has pointed out, "he doenst look like the guys on our currency".  As much as it disappoints me to admit it, It really looks like we are headed for Carter 2.0 in every sense possible, especially economically and on the foreign policy front.  What we need to start doing now as conservatives is to start looking for the next Ronald Reagan to lead us into another 30 year cycle of prosperity and national security. We need to start looking for the next Newt Gingrich who is smart enough and savvy enough to return us to the time of balanced budgets and the courage to roll back as many of the entitlements as possible.
Let's just hope and pray the socialists and pacifists don't do any irrepairable damage to our country in the next 4 years...

Sexism, What about AGEISM?

The political party that portays itself as the defender of our (selective) civil rights (both constitutional and judicially granted) has no problem in this election practicing a rather disgusting and disappointing, yet widely accepeted form of discrimination, i.e. AGEISM.

"He is old", "he is 72", " He is out of touch with the new generation," "she would be just a heartbeat away from the presidency"NOW the latest by Mr. Obama calling Mr. McCain an old fish....all statements by the fear mongering left using Mr. McCain's age to try and discourage/scare voters from voting for him since he will more than likely die or become incapacitated....If I fail to train or promote one of my employees because of their age, guess where I will end up?, IN COURT....

McCain Running Unopposed...

The left are in extreme panic mode and it is fun to watch.  Obama is running against Palin, Biden is trying to run against Palin but has become nothing more than an after thought to this point in the election.  Then you have McCain, virtually running unopposed and continuing to dodge a lot of the extreme media scrutiny that is usually ratcheted up during the homestretch as they (the media) continue to try and hammer Palin to no avail.  I wonder if the left will ever come to their senses and realize Obama is not running against Palin, or George Bush and redirect their efforts into attacking McCain...lets hope their hatred for this female politician and what she stands for continues to occupy them from what they should be doing and that is competing with McCain....

Great Paglia Read....

A Great read from Camile Paglia regarding the current election...I hate to admit that I agree with a self descirbed athiest/independent, but many of the points she makes regarding modern feminism, Palin, McCain, Obama, Hillary, Biden etc are spot on.... Link below.

Politics of Personal Destruction Alive and Well

Good to see the issues are no longer the subject matter of this year's election for many (once again)...just a popularity contest between Obama and Palin....and Palin wins hands down....
Good to see the Clintons influence in american politics still resonates with many on the left....from CNN's "expose" on Palin and her religious beliefs last night to the left wing bloggers going crazy today, looks like we are in for another republican win....

Can McCain "Triangulate" like Bill Clinton?

Can John McCain learn and execute the art of "triangulation" during the next 60 days to marginalize Obama and win the Whitehouse?  While all of the pundits unwittingly continue to insist on comparing the DNC's top of the ticket guy to the RNC's number two "gal", this leaves senator McCain with the opportunity to stay "above the fray" and let his VP choice continue to hammer Obama on his obvious shortcomings all-the-while taking the punches herself that should be reserved for McCain.  This should leave Mr. McCain free from the concentrated scrutiny that normally would be headed his way from the liberal media coming down the homestretch and allow him to stay on message virtually unchallenged by his opponent.  Let's hope Obama's campaign continues down this road to nowhere. Oh yeah, by the way, has anyone seen Senator Biden???
